Where Bed Bugs Hide In The Home

Where bed bugs hide in the home is a great question. Bed bugs love being in the human environment.Bed bugs are usually not seen during the daytime, but love to come out during the night while we are in our cozy beds in our homes. Bed bugs are drawn to our body heat and they like to hid in the crevices and small cracks in our homes.

During the day bed bugs will hide in cracks and crevices of the home .They will come out to feed on human blood  during the night while you are asleep in your bed. Bed bugs will hide in the railings of the bed and the mattress. They will also hide behind wallpaper, baseboards, light plates, picture frames and in the crevices of furniture. Bed bugs can flatten their bodies so that they can crawl in the tiniest of places that you would not think they could get underneath.

When bed bugs do come out during the night they bite you.The bites will cause you to itch severely and leave bumps and marks on your body. By the time you realize you have been bitten by bed bugs  they are back in the crevices, cracks of the wall, wall paper, picture frames, base boards, crevices of the furniture, railings of the bed or mattress.

Hi, I'm Keeton. I've been working in the pest control industry for about 14 years. Since then, I have seen some pretty intense pest infestations and have written about most of them. I currently live in Nashville, Tennessee and when I am not writing about pests, I enjoy getting outside and exploring the beautiful Tennessee landscapes.
